"Now on the banks of a new life, I've brought you here to fall in love"
January 2023 Happenings
Good afternoon, fellow travelers on this river,
I’m still figuring out how exactly I want to use this newsletter. Part of me misses the biweekly column I had back in college, the rush of sitting down at a desktop in the computer lab, scanning the horizon for Thoughts, Reflections, Hot Takes.
But I’ve got some New Year’s resolutions to accomplish that are demanding a lot of my time right now, and I want to honor that (I took a boxing class! And hot yoga! Trying to find delight in movement). So for now, this is a repository of my goings on.
The subject of this newsletter comes from my poem “Glory From Above,” which I’m at work on designing a broadside for (in time for Valentine’s Day). Stay tuned for more.
